Good Will hunting

Vintage ornaments

There are few things I love more than vintage goodies. When they are on clearance I am in heaven. I scored a huge container of these ornaments for just $25 (originally $50) from my local Good Will. My sister came home the other day with a shoe box full and I knew I had to have some.

Tiny brite ornament

I could have chosen boxes with full sets instead of a mash up of different ones but I love the variety and these pinks, greens, and aquas are my favorite Christmas colors. It also helps that most of these balls have glitter.

Retro green ornament

Over the past few years we’ve been decorating our tree with retro ornaments from my grandparents on both sides of the family. There is something special about the delicate crackling and the history behind each piece. These new pieces will not only flesh out our collection but they also add a bit of mystery. Who originally  bought these pieces? (They had amazing taste.) How did they find their way to Good Will?
